When Covid put the brakes on a long-planned live event, we had two months to produce a film series for an exclusive digital launch. Cue this 10-minute romantic drama, starring the new Portofino M and the Amalfi CoastA live challenge
With no live launch event possible for the new Portofino M due to Covid-restrictions, Ferrari needed an interactive film experience that was premium enough for their very best global customers and every bit as exclusive as an in-person invitation to Universo Ferrari in Maranello. And it needed to be ready in 2 months.A digital solution
Working closely with the digital agency, we created a suite of films for an exclusive microsite, including a sweeping 10-minute launch film starring Ferrari’s CEO Louis C. Camilleri that was streamed live. The complex, multi-shoot production included filming a still-secret car under restrictive Covid conditions on the iconic Amalfi Coast road – all of it developed and edited in-house.A new model
Heralded as a triumph by the CEO himself, this interactive film experience has become the model for future digital launches. Without paid promotion, shorter edits of the launch films have also generated high engagement among global fans on Ferrari’s social channels.Portofino M launch film
